I'm agree with mgjinich the founding of our democracy was made by non-religious persons, not only Benito Juarez Reform change the view of the Mexican people over religion, but Revolution as a large impact in the separation between church and state, the 24 article of constitution, states very clear that separation, recently we made a huge mistake letting congress change this article and giving more power to the church. Now that I'm living in USA I'm very impressed with the power of the pastors, i think that something should be stopped.
