While it may be a good idea to give Alexander Aan refugee status, I think it would be far better to pressure the authorities in places like Indonesia to recognise atheists and to protect their rights (easy to say, living as I do in the UK).

Giving refugee status to Indonesians would mock their claim of democracy and shame them on the world stage. Make them pay for the disgrace of offending reality.
