Sad as it is, I fell for this too.. A friend posted it to a chat-room i frequent where the majority of users are atheist/agnostic/non practicing members of various faiths or somewhere within the neighborhood... it actually took us about an hour to realize that this was a joke/satire and not actually real.. I think it says a lot about the state of some parts of america when a dozen or more pretty bright people take something like that to be fact without much consideration.
