I think it was a Jehovah's Witness who once explained to me with a smile on his face how the Japanese tsunami was God's punishment against non-Christians, i.e. Buddhists. And the Aurora shootings? Apparently, God's punishment against non-Jehovah's Witnesses, i.e. Christians. And the Jehovah's Witnesses murdered in Nazi concentration camps? To quote their own words, Nazi era Jehovah's Witnesses "underwent persecution equal to that heaped upon the Jews." There is no mention of God's punishment against Jehovah's Witnesses.
