I suggest the method I adopted: read it in small bits (I cannot concentrate on it for more than a few minutes at a time) while on the toilet. But be careful, some of it is so funny you might fall off the seat.
Do not enlist the services of a professional (preacher) or you will end up like our friend logicophilosophicus--wandering through a field of poppies.
