France bans the veil

I'm not certain this is a good idea. The claim is that it isn't about the islamic veil but that is nonsense. I don't like the veil but there are other items of clothing that I also don't like. Despite all the arguments, I'm still undecided about the wisdom of letting the state have a say in what we are/are not allowed to wear.
