Let's ASSUME that space travel is possible AND other alien races can reach our little blue globe, would they ever allow we humans to get off our planet?

Given the way humans:

...constantly kill each other over who's god is better.

...allow 40,000 of our own species to die daily from preventable sources.

...use up natural resources with little regard for the consequences.

...distrust and kill our own species around the globe.

The negative list could go on, but I was hoping for a few countering positive attributes. What do we have to offer?

If you were an enlightened species from elsewhere, would you want or allow a race like us up there with you, especially given the historical facts that show we would almost certainly turn on you in the future?
