No parents should fake religion to get their child a state education
I've just put a suggestion on Nick Clegg's "Your Freedom" website, where we are all invited to make contributions to his proposed Great Repeals Bill, suggest we repeal any and all laws which permit schools to discriminate against children on the basis of the parents' professed religion, church attendance record etc.
I would very much appreciate people taking the time to register and add a comment/rating.
Apologies if I am duplicating anyone else's ideas, but I guess the more the merrier.
Are there any other legislative changes we might think about seeking as part of this exercise?
There is already one in favour of banning collective worship in schools.
