I wonder if it might be an idea (if not already done) to have a forum for words of wisdom that have had an impact on your life but were delivered by someone relatively unknown?

When my physics teacher knocked back my answer to a question, I thought long and hard for a come-back. And failed. Since then I’ve used it myself but always credited her, although I think she said she was quoting her own physics teacher.

Are there any other pearls out there from teachers, parents, children or any other random source? I think it’d be a nice thing to give credit where it’s due.
