I have a short story to tell you that took place in my real life just recently ...

As a little bit of a background a live in the Northeast in the United States which is generally considered among the most liberal areas of the United States.

I was at lunch in the workplace minding my own business reading Christopher Hitchen's "God is Not Great." A very Christian woman starting speaking with me and instead of trying to talk me out of my beliefs or to preach "God's Love" to me instead she listed several atheists who had been killed for their beliefs and thanked God for Christopher Hitchen's cancer making him unable to talk. She stated "that is what happens to those that say evil things about God, they get finished off."

I found this utterly disturbing to say the very least. We have a lot of work to do.
