Can we be sceptical about scepticism?

A few have suggested that we have a discussion about discussing, or in other words, a more philosophical meta-talk about what it means to be reasonable, or to be a free thinker. I think an informal friendly discussion about how we discuss might be fruitful.
And so, what does it mean to reason? Is scepticism a reasonable position or not? And what are the connections between reason, scepticism, critical thinking and science?
