A correlation between non-religion and environmental performance?

If you compare the two lists below, there seems to be a clear connection between them, with a few exceptions.
Many countries that are highly non-religious are also high on the EPI (environmental performance index)
I think this says quite a bit about how we accept information.
What do the community members here think about this?
