Cartoon - Hitler, Mussolini and the Vatican

I was having a rummage when I came across a 1942 book of cartoons.

There is one of Hitler and Mussolini approaching the Vatican about rumours of Vatican correspondence with Stalin. I thought those at would like to share this. The cartoon is from October 16, 1941, but some things don't date or change much.

The text on the facing page says:-

"Hitler had made great play with the "godlessness" of Bolshevism. At whispers of an exchange of letters between Stalin and the Vatican, Nazism temporarily dissembled its anti-Christian principles and Hitler was pushed in the Axis press as a new Luther."
