Would miracles cause collapse of the universe?

I wish had had the mathematical and physics background to work on this question, but maybe there are some in these groups that could take the question to the next level. Here it is:
When the theists claim that a god occasionally decides to violate normal laws of physics (eg. through resurrection or baseball game results) what would such an event mean to other physical laws, quantum theory, relativity etc?
Would such an event bring about such a disruption to space and time so as to destroy the universe or cause a local collapse? I wonder if there might actually be a mathematical and physical "proof" that miracles are incompatible with a stable universe?
