If you're a child of the '80s as I am, chances are you remember Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers. Stop laughing for a second. They actually did a show in which the Rangers investigated a soda-worshipping cult that was tricking its followers into giving up all their riches to the cult's leader. The adherents also participated in rituals involving "soda showers" and singing along to a commercial for the soda. Yeah, it was pretty stupid. But it is a good conversation starter for parents and their little children about religion in general.
