I was born Jewish and was brought up in a Chassidic environment, where any sort of thinking outside the box is discouraged. I started having questions at the age of 11 and I went in stages from a deeply religious boy to a full blown atheist. First I understood that there was a lack of evidence for a personal god and it went from there.

But even today somewhere deep I keep on doubting my intelligence and the intelligence of science purely due to the indoctrination that I had as a child, and I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for clearing out the emotional side of indoctrination, because it interferes with the objective use of the intellect system
