A Baltimore Catechism for the New Atheists

The Catholic-supporting blog, First Things, has today put up an essay by Edward T. Oakes titled: A Baltimore Catechism for the New Atheists.
This piece starts out with a serious mischaracterization of the book "A Universe From Nothing" by Lawrence Krauss, and then goes on to strawman the positions of many of those involved in the so called "New Atheist" movement. I have written about the distinction between "physical nothing" and "metaphysical nothing" on a previous discussion thread here at RDnet, but would be interested to hear the thoughts of others re the vast collection of other strawmen piled together to be burnt at the stake by Mr. Oakes.
