Go to: Buzz off, Harry Potter – we need reinventing

There are A LOT of people commenting on Harry Potter who really don't have a clue as well. Like for example, the magic in HP isn't easy' it's hard. You have to practise a lot. And there are limitations. They live in a magical society, so of course they use their magic a lot. People who want to comment on HP, read the books. They teach us moral lessons and make us wiser. They are so much more than simply "fantasy books"... I'm so sick of ignorant people. And Dyson is one of the most ignorant people ever!

This I do NOT agree with. I'm all for science, but Harry Potter is one of the best things that has ever happened to the world.  It made MILLIONS of children  discover the joy of reading.  I started reading Harry Potter when I was 11,and it completely changed my life. It made me love reading and writing, and my imagination soared. I'm 19 now,and I can't imagine how my life would have been without J.K Rowling and Harry Potter.

"Not relevant?" Excuse me?  Harry Potter teaches  good moral and important life lessons. If any of those fools who just bash before reading the books, had actually read the books, they would know that. The books are  highly relevant and  very good books that will be enjoyed for generations to  come. It's not just some random wizardy. J.K Rowling spent over 10 years on these books for a good reason. So she could write them well. Dyson does not know what he's talking about and has probably not read the books.   Harry Potter books are classics like Narnia and Lord of the Rings, they'll never be forgotten.

"Arty-tartsy"..."Evil influence?" ... WHAT?  This is pathetic. Ignorant and pathetic. Why was this posted on Richard Dawkin's twitter? It's utter trite.  And that man is brilliant. I don't understand.
