Great interview. Loved the response to the last question (FSM). Very quick on your feet, Richard, assuming that wasn't a set up.

Just got to watch that. Excellent stuff. Nature really is so fascinating. You think you've seen everything, and it's such a joy to realize that there's so much more to learn. Keep up the great work, Richard!

Go to: Obama creates faith-based office with wide mission

I still say it matters that it's out there in the public that the president of the US said casually that his father was an Atheist and his mother was skeptical of organized religion. People LIKE Obama. This is good advertising for Atheism and skepticism.

The 'No God...' line. Who cares. It's just PR BS. It doesn't matter.

Listen, this is progress. The vast majority of US citizens are christians. He speaks their language, but he's gently pushing things in the right direction. They're eating it up with a spoon.

Anyone else on my side'

Sorry, I took this news in a more positive light: he mentioned that his father was an atheist and his mother was a skeptic. That's HUGE news for atheists!

He also mentioned the organization would provide help 'no matter what their religious beliefs' and 'secular and faith-based'. C'mon, people, this is a step in the right direction!! These are good signs. Somebody back me up on this.
