He may have lost his voice, but not his eloquent grasp of the English language. And we are at least lucky enough to have his voice for a long time to come in the numerous recordings of his speeches and commentary. His ideas will carry on in all of his books and articles. Writers are the true after-lifers.

I do find it interesting that the protests against the idiot Jones are not going on in countries where people are finally fighting for their rights. Political impotence breeds religious fundamentalism.

I heard EllenBeth Wachs talking about this litigation on Freethought Radio just recently, obviously this was before the riot police showed up on her doorstep. Wow, it is getting dangerous out there, first Hawaii and now Florida. Nice to see all that Homeland Security put to use against our own citizens! I hope the ACLU gets involved.

Total exploitation, prolong a painful existance of an infant, not because they care, but because it raises a lot of money from idiots who don't understand the first thing about morality.

Actually, faithbased initiatives was started under the Clinton administration. Bush greatly expanded it, allowing religious organization to descriminate and still receive federal funds. Faith based initiatives is unconstitutional. Obama should have scrapped it and set up a program which would provide funds to charity based initiatives - all of which would have to follow federal law to receive funds. Faith based charities have two objectives - their charitable purpose and their religious purpose. Organizations that can't keep those things separate or that put the latter before the former have no business receiving US tax dollars - which is how it used to be before Clinton.

As for wanting to participate in a faith based program, no thanks.
