PS Actually, there aren't any dinosaurs in the Pitt Rivers. The museum you visited was probably the University Museum of Natural History. The Pitt Rivers is an anthropological museum at the back of the University Museum noted for its shrunken heads and unusual layout. Both museums are very nice to visit.

Ah yes, my mistake. Our intention was to visit the Pitt Rivers, but we had to go through the University Museum.

You can't miss the giant T-Rex that is there, unless the lad in question covered his eyes, and repeated the words "No, no, no." A bit like Geoffrey Norman, MP.

I went to college with this guy who was a staunch Christian.

Even after attending the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford for a college trip it still didn't shake his belief that Dinosaurs ever existed. Yes, that's right. He didn't believe Dinosaurs existed. I never found out his reasoning for that.

Comment 59 by Richard Dawkins :

I would like to go further. SETI (the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence) should be matched by a complementary endeavour, which might be called BOITE (broadcast our intelligence to extraterrestrials). Or the B could stand for beam. I would like to pump digitally coded information about our existence and our literature, music and science out into space, streaming through the firmament, perpetually as long as we have the technology to do it. Long after we are gone, and our planet is a cinder, some intelligent code-breakers may stumble on the knowledge that once we were. Unlikely but at least it is a hope.

That would be an awesome movie.
