This discussion made me wish that the RD suggested public debate/discussion method that uses no moderator between the two sides would have been used. So many cuts in the discussion just when it was getting at its best.

Go to: Fr Kit Cunningham's paedophile past: heads should roll after the Rosminian order's disgraceful cover-up

I think it is undeniable that there are some priests that had paedophile motivation in choosing their career. It is also more feasable to think that more of them turned to paedophilia due to sexual frustration and the backwards attitude that catholic church has with sex.

I loved Stephen Fry's answer to this kind of thing. (around 3:20)

I like the theoretic idea of the brightest students being thought by the brightest professors. You would think that the possible outcome could be giants like Darwin, Einstein, Susskind and Hawking. Wouldn't even one individual like that be worth it? I know these kind of individuals don't need an elitist school to go to, to be what they are, but I do tend to think that school like this might find individuals who would otherwise be lost.

As a side note, I agree with the people who critizise the high fee. At the least the amount of paid entries should be raised from 20% to something higher. Then again.. I'm a Finn and all schools in here are free...
