See the last comment here : http://www.gawaher.com/index.php?showtopic=736338.html& You'd think that someone who can use a computer and write a comment on a forum has more brains than a baboon.But he hasn't.

Since when it's 8% more than 92 % ?!

Listen to it again.....1.2% of our genome is protein coding genes, about 20,000. In comparison, viruses have about 100,000 elements or 8-9%.....don't forget about all the redundancy from history we pack, there's your 90% excess baggage.... crudely explained I know, an "expert" here will refine.

Ah, I see ; thanks.

"Tao du Jeet Kune Do" Bruce Lee

Yeah, Bruce Lee was one of the great thinkers of the 20th century :
"You scratch my skin, I break your bones.You break my bones, I take your life.Either learn to endure, or hire a bodyguard".

Go to: The 100 greatest non-fiction books

Stefan Udrea's Avatar Jump to comment 27 by Stefan Udrea

Damn it...from the whole list, I've only read "Thus Spake Zarathustra" by Nietzsche. And I don't consider it non-fiction hahahaha.
But may I count "The Blind Watchmaker" instead of "The Selfish Gene" ? That would raise my score to 2 books out of 100.

I also recomend :
"Megatrends", I dont' remember the name of the author, it was an American;
"Sad tropics" by Claude Levy-Strauss, it's a book of anthropology;
"Broca's Brain" by Carl Sagan;deals with how some appearantly miraculous phenomena are not miraculous at all
"What is life? " by Erwin Schroedinger;poor Erwin didn't know the structure of the DNA, but the book is interesting, though
"The first 3 minutes of the Universe", don't remember the name of the author;

And of course, "The God Delusion".
