I enjoyed this program.

'The Selfish Gene' is a great book with a great title — please don't change it!

How pathetic that anyone could believe that a scientific principle should be dismissed because the idea is unpleasant. Save us from the 'altruism' of politicians.

A bit speedy and slick, but still much better that anything the BBC has to offer.

Richard Dawkins and Stephen Pinker's contributions were very good. The other panellists were new to me, but worth investigating. I may buy Susan Jacoby's book.

Thank you.

Thanks for the chance to watch this debate. It was a bit on the polite side, but worth watching. Richard Dawkins made the most sense, as usual.

Comment 12 As far as art goes, religion has only ever supplied the subject matter for art, which is neither here nor there: the content of art always lies in the execution.

Thank goodness someone has hit the nail on the head! I can't understand why these two seem to have been trying to evade the question in this debate?

I enjoyed this interview, especially when they touched on the anomaly of powerful religious fundamentalism in America.
