"With my background in continental philosophy the majority of analytic philosophy is utter nonsense to me"

This is like saying "With my background in astrology, the majority of astronomy is utter nonsense to me".

"but only a self-deluding hypocrite would criticize them for that so I do not."

It's not hypocrisy to criticize people who know things for being unintelligible to people who don't, it's stupidity.

@Comment 310 is a good example of how intelligent people can be functionally stupid, as a consequence of an unscientific epistemology that leads them to a lot of false beliefs.

" It is a literally infinite source"

It's not, actually -- a finite amount of computer memory can only take on a finite number of states, and there are other finite limitations such as time and the length of the output.

You lost when you mentioned Harry Potter. It is an indication of your defeat. Sorry, I am not interested to discuss with people such as yourself, to know the reasons for this is at your burden, it is a total waste of time.

Intellectual dishonesty at its finest.

Hello jibal, welcome to the RD boards. I see you've only been here an hour and already I feel a bit of hostility from you, as well as Steve. Steve had yet to explain himself, if he ever does. I'm not sure why on earth you also decided to jump on the bandwagon.

Ad hominem and deeply hypocritical.

No steve, I'm not going to bother reading links to articles. You can find evidence for anything you want, that's not critical thinking.

Where's the plonk button?

I disagree. I think the moral arguments against murder and stealing are very logical and quite obvious.

Sorry, but "logical" is not a synonym for "true in my opinion", and claiming that a point in contention is "very obvious" is petitio principii.

Not working on the Sabbath and the veil thing are not moral claims

Yes, they are; they certainly aren't empirical or analytical claims. Morality is about what is right or wrong; to say these aren't moral is special pleading and begging the question, a sort of "No true Morality" fallacy.

Your reasons failed unfortunately.

Non sequitur.
