Demanding, much? What in the hell?

If not being wowed by minor and at least one potentially very insecure add-on is your idea of demanding, then yes, I guess I am demanding.

Can anybody here give me a clear, concise, no bullshit answer as to how this site/comment system/forum/blog/I don't even know what it's supposed to be is going to actually WORK? I've heard about 50 different things so far! Is that too much to ask? Is that too demanding for you?

Instead of a post about "this is our plan, this is how it's gonna work, you'll be able to do this, this, and this, and it'll be handled like this, and it'll be cool!" they go "Ooooo, look! Shinies!" That's not very confidence-inspiring. Especially when those shinies... don't look very shiny to me. That Gravatar thing is frankly quite frightening for the sheer ease of abuse. Is that thing going to be required or optional?

All I've seen is this promised glitz. And I will tell you right now, as a person who has also designed and coded websites: if all you have is glitz and no solid foundation, you're screwed.

Really? Really? This is your idea of an article that's supposed to make us excited about this new website? Dinky little things of no weight or importance that are supposed to wow us with their shininess?

You can gild shit with gold, but it won't change the fact that it's shit. Show me something that'll actually make me think this change -won't- be gilded shit.

LOL, trying to make some kind of psychoanalysis over a freaking copy/paste error. Way to fail, Lendear.

I'd love to have that Nine Lessons and Carols DVD... if it was available in the US! D:
