Go to: Simply ... should I read the bible?

The Book of Ecclesiastes is actually quite good. Very different from the rest of the Bible . . . it's damned near atheistic in its worldview, except for a few, easily identified bits added by later authors to try to tone down its message.

Those chemical structures in the cover art -- They seem to employ a bit of artistic license? If one tries to uniquely assign one color to one element, the valences just do not seem to work.

Since the book is supposed to be about "what's really true," perhaps the chemical structures in the cover art could be modified to more accurately depict real molecules?

I would have liked to see more detail on why they needed a new book at all, and what they changed re evolution. Are HS biology books required to be so up-to-the-minute with the latest discoveries they need to change every year ?
