Don't forget that if religious people give themselves important sounding titles like 'Eminence' 'Grace' 'Father' 'Most Reverend' 'His Holiness' etc, then these titles must be used when talking to them.

In much the same way, I expect all religious people to address me by my proper title - 'Ruler of the Universe'

Respect goes 2 ways, you know. If we have to respect the fancy titles they give themselves, then they should address us by whatever titles we want to dream up...

We could always commit the ultimate act of vengeance against the Catholic Church.

Refuse to call them 'Your Holiness', 'Your Eminence' 'Your Grace' or 'Father'.

Calling His Holiness by his Christian name 'Joseph' would be an act that the Catholic Church would never tolerate.

They like their self-imposed titles of grandeur.

Not only are their beliefs like the Emperor's New Clothes, but they are not even entitled to the titles they give themselves.

The Onion had an excellent idea.

'As a "goodwill measure," Cardinal Re said all churches will also be required to display a sign next to the altar showing the number of days since the last molestation.'

Dawkins goes beyond science and antagonizes believers?

I think this is code for saying that the catholic church hid cases of abuse for years and they are now very angry that people are bringing this up.

If atheists criticise fundamentalists, they are attacking a straw man, and not what moderates believe.

If atheists criticise 'liberal' religion, they are attacking people who should be their allies against fundamentalism.

Atheists - know your place!
