The negativity coming from some is overwhelming. Sure, 35 million is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on what is basically entertainment, and of course that money could do great things elsewhere, but let's be real here. Those of you who suggest putting that money into feeding the starving, should we give up any and everything we do as a species that does not feed and cloth to poor?

Further, do you own a TV, a computer, or anything else used for entertainment? Since you're posting, you probably at least own a computer. Couldn't that couple-thousand dollars that went into that machine feed a lot of people? Is it necessary for you to own one? Is it necessary to spend any of your money on entertainment? No, it's not. But I don't see the naysayers throwing every cent they don't spend just surviving at charities.

The only thing different here is the scale. Calm the fuck down.

It is always enjoyable to witness a dyking event. I particularly like when they are preceded by a bit of "slow slipping" before a quick "earthquake", followed by some visible tremors.

Interesting. While modern martial arts and combat training make size largely irrelevant in determining our fighting ability, I can imagine that prehistorically size and upper body strength WOULD be the primary indicator of ability.

I really, truly hope that this doesn't fall into obscurity like so many breakthroughs we see in the energy industry.
