Go to: Homeopath Thomas Sam guilty of daughter Gloria's death

This is horrifying, but maybe necessary. I dare anyone to say outright that they didn't think "finally homeopathy has been outed as bogus in a court of law and no-one relying on it will be criminally unculpable in case of a tragedy" after reading this. I certainly did. Same as a US court condemning "praying parents" after their child's death which I don't has happened so far (but maybe very soon in the future)?

I have to agree that I didn't expect Sam Harris' commentary to be as it turned out and I don't know whether the satire is a sign of frustration or something else. Nevertheless, it's brilliant and "I've often wondered why walking works" is going to be one if my standard responses to similar claims.

Go to: Better Know a Lobby - Atheism

Remember, he's doing a parody of a conservative pundit, and never breaks character, and that's the kind of crap they do.

Just wanted to further emphasize this since a lot of people seem to forget/overlook this rather essential fact to understanding any of Colbert's comedy (singing God Bless America all the way through being a good example of this).

Go to: Do they really think the earth is flat?

Nuspirit's Avatar Jump to comment 32 by Nuspirit

Not that I'm out to offend anyone, but if this is the first time you've heard of flat-earthers and their "society", you might want to think twice before posting a derogatory comment about them (you're their Internet counterpart, sort of).
