Good point.
A friend of mine is dealing with a malaria outbreak as we speak.

However;

" There is an argument for getting rid as much of Nature"

Can I suggest the phrase "tuning our environment" instead of "getting rid as much of Nature"?

Edit:

Value;

#1) The avoidance of pain suffering (Epicurian).

#2) ______________ (fill blank)

There is no "Natural". I suspect that religion is behind the idea: God gave Adam and Eve dominion over all other life, and so there is the Natural world, and the Artificial world. But it's really a very strange and (literally) self-centered way of looking at things.

Thank you Mr. Zara!

What we are left with perhaps are value judgments.

What do we value?

"Freedom"? Art? Knowledge? Survival? Utility? "Biodiversity"?
Taco Bell? .......?

Hmmph. I'm seriously less than impressed.

How Hellene gets to post all kinds of rubbish while obviously ignoring the content of my questions or even wasting a couple of minutes to think about it whereas I get banned is quite beyond me.

Stop whining like a four year old that's skinned his knee.
I don't find your posts as "deep" as you'd like me to, thats all.
And for the record I have answered you. Not in the way you'd like me to perhaps. A bit of mental flexibility and humor on your part?

And stay away from Taco Bell... It's bad food.

" Can we put up luxury condos with hardwood floors and jacuzzis powered by Old Faithful?
...and fem-bots. "

Don't forget the automatic Taco Bell dispenser.

Seriously, if you are ever in Tampa, drop me a line we'll go to Estellas:

On an interesting note their AC and refrigeration is solar powered.
