Hmmmm...

Pretty sure that's not thelifecycle of a dragonfly. Ironic as the dead atheist talked about the Selfish Gene. In her autobiography Lois Wilson, wife of AA founder Bill Wilson, recalls watching delightedly a dragonfly emerge only for a kingfisher swoop down and scoff it. "I cried and cried". Not quite as charming a story for the kids...

The Calvinist video responder is from my home town. I am curious that Mason's posts to it all seem to have been removed. I am disappointed that some ppl cant do betterr than just call the guy fat. How very intellectual and enlightened!

So these guys are so offended by "immodest" females they deliberately go out and stand where they can see them. Didnt see any women protestors - or maybe they're so modest they arent allowed out, or so well camouflaged you cant even see them.If these guys dont like itt they can stay off the street during the school run. Or maybe they like staring at and shouting obscenities at little girls.

Yeah O'Reilly likes to make it look like RD is known only for being an atheist. Note how he refers to him as "Mr Dawkins" whereas courtesy would be to acknowledge him as Professor. RD is very experienced and so I guess he knows how best to play it, but I'm surprised he didnt say "I thought I was here to discuss my book?" at some point. We learnt very little about it from this interview.

On the other hand, the following, which The Salon on April 21 reported Perry as declaring looks like slam dunk unconstitional to me, except dont Presidents declare national days of prayer, including the present one?

"NOW, THEREFORE, I, RICK PERRY, Governor of Texas, under the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Statutes of the State of Texas, do hereby proclaim the three-day period from Friday, April 22, 2011, to Sunday, April 24, 2011, as Days of Prayer for Rain in the State of Texas. I urge Texans of all faiths and traditions to offer prayers on that day for the healing of our land, the rebuilding of our communities and the restoration of our normal and robust way of life."
