Go to: Stark warning emerges from science summit

"It's about persuading people to believe in science."

Why do people in this position talk about "believing" in science, as if it's in the same sphere as religion? What about getting people to understand and trust science?

Once again the RC church has produced in me the feeling of "shocked, but not surprised."

If the numbers given are correct, I suspect that many of them would have been taken during the Franco regime, pushing up the average per day figure. As the story says, a lot of the children were stolen from enemies of the state or undesirables.

So here I am again, left with that futile anger that I'm sure so many of must have.

My pleasure.

Not a bad interview, but the phone-in parts went rather off topic. I could almost see Richard slapping his forehead and thinking, "not that old chestnut again. Ask me something I haven't been asked a hundred times before."
