If we are going to worry about suffering from these creations once we have the finished product that are put into testing, should we also worry about the many iterations that it will take to get to the finished product?

We could be creating and destroying 'half-minds' that might have consciousness that we are not taking into account when we destroy them to test and improve upon on way the final goal of a fully functioning mind. I could be off base, but I think that this would also need to be a question that is asked during this conversation.

This on same day that the story "Teenage girl buried alive in Turkey for talking to boys" was posted....

I think someone needs to read "Society without God: What the Least Religious Nations Can Tell Us About Contentment"

Tim Tebow though seems to be the worst sort of brainwashed/repressed evangelical Christian. Too bad he gets a bully pulpit just because he can run and throw a football.

Just to be clear he actually isn't that good at throwing the football.

The worst part is that there were some Super Bowl ads that were rejected that I think were less controversial than this.

I am upset by this, however, I am going to reserve complete judgement until after I see the ad since they have claimed it is not as bad as people are making it out to be. Either way, I do not think the add will change the mind of anyone.
