Go to: Can atheists' arguments sound less offensive to religious?

"Unlike any other topic, they really take this personally, and are deeply offended at the personal level." Well, lets face it, it IS personal, and often the only way some believers can deal with criticism in a discussion is to be, or to appear to be, offended as they have no other means of defence.

According to an JW elder the lad ""made a stand on the blood issue". Wow - they must all be so proud of their work screwing this kid up to the point where he was prepared to die to make a fucking stand. It's just sick. he was minor and someone - a parent or these 'elders' - should be prosecuted.

"Richard Dawkins, the prominent atheist professor. "Pro-choice groups", homosexual pressure groups and the National Secular Society are all viewed as negative."
Yeah - and it's really not good if anyone 'negative' gets to speak to the Ratz is it? Just imagine if he was ever put in a position where he had to defend himself against intelligent argument. No - it's always best to have everyone who meets him be overwhelmed with respect, and keep their traps shut.
