Go to: Let's get it straight: Irish child abuse was perpetrated by the trendy, modern post-Vatican II Catholic Church

This article claims that the reason Catholic priests and nuns abused so many children is because the post-Vatican II Church is much too modern. The Catholic Church freed Ireland from oppression for generations, he writes, and it would be better if that most fundamental institution devolves into what it used to be.

I thought it might be a satire due to the highly tawdry logic. Maybe it is and Warner doesn't even realize it.

The article wasn't about evolution. Although it said that it was rooted in deep philosophical fallacy, the article was a very enjoyable read. There was some wit to it. Now I'm excited for the movie. Love the last line about the film:

"Much funnier than Martin Luther, and way more heretical."

Wow, this is really getting around the world if it is reaching the Scandinavian regions. The only problem with this add in Finland is that it probably pertains to only a handful of people. What a great problem to have!

I didn't like the last sentence too much. It seems to suggest that atheists shouldn't be the people in charge. It is like 'atheists' are just the temporary solution until Christianity can come back in to take over.

Overall, good article though.
