My copy of this "wonderful" pamphlet arrived in the post today.

I ripped the package open and set at it with relish. Having finished it, I'd have to say that my thoughts can be summed up in a single word. As, however, it would be inappropriate to use such language on a public system, let me paraphrase myself thusly...

I've ordered a copy of this thing, in my own name, because I actually do want to find out what current flavour of tripe is being spouted against Darwin et al.

Initially I thought I'd read the thing and then use it to line the cats' litter tray and that would be an end of it. Having read through all the posts on here, I think I may attempt to crit/refute the entire pamphlet and then post is and the rebuttle back to them.

If nothing else they have helped some one, in some ways by paying for postage and printing and it is only fair that I also match that by contributing to the UK Post Office and thereby the salaries of the staff in some small fashion. If I had a blog I post a rebuttle on there as well.

Seems to me to be the same essential principle that rocketed "The Da Vinci Code" to the top of the fiction charts... In that instance the Vatican stated numerous times that there was no basis to the story and that was better publicity than the publisher could have bought...

Never heard of Tim before, but I'm going to book two tickets for myself and my "other half" (who's Catholic...) to go see Tim in Northampton in October...

"One goal is to reach “clear,” a state where the mind’s negative images are gone and the person is said to be rid of all fears, anxieties and irrational thoughts."

Just to be difficult here... Wouldn't this state of "Clear", as describe, preclude any irrational thoughts in religion? Just a thought, but if this state of "clear", and if there's any truth at all in COS claims, then surely the number of adherants to COS should be reducing all the time...
