Go to: Interview with Richard Dawkins

In this case, does the pope become a scapegoat for the actions of priests? A single target among the all too many guilty priests, upon which to focus attention on the degenerate church?

I think Richard was very clear that what he and Hitchens are focusing on is Rattsinger's (sp?) actions to cover up abuse, and shuffle guilty priests along to other parishes where they could continue their nefarious doings. But the CNN interviewer seemed to have attached herself to the first point, rather than Richard's argument-- she probably did so out of recognition that the public (or some of it anyway) is likely to see that first point, and shut their ears to the second.

I think it's a worthwhile cause, but it does read superficially as just a publicity stunt.

I'm glad to see this book is still holding strong in the public's eye/pocketbook years after it was released.

Nice staying power!

I wish I could have been there.

And may I introduce you to my wife, Morgan Fairchild?

i was just thinking. ..you've probably looked into this already, but i'm not sure i understand why you can't use Wodehouse's character names in a new work.

After all, we've already had an internet search service called Ask Jeeves. Not to mention the precedents of continuing stories of Scarlett O'Hara, Mr. Darcy and the like.

Is there anything wrong with calling a spade a spade?
