I do not see how this Pell character got to where he is today. For a priest of such apparent eminence, he seemed not to have his wits about him, have any intellectual spark or apparent enthusiasm for the subject under discussion, despite having worked in this field for most of his life! I suspect its a case of "piss poor preparation makes for piss poor performance".

As for Editor Matt, merely to promote nostalgia for mindless beliefs past whilst flinging insults at the good Professor, merely emphasizes the emptiness of the belief. Perhaps he can see, in his heart that the argument is lost and cannot figure another way out.

I think regular progress reports would help to clarify what is happening to Teresa and how she handles the situation. We could all appreciate some enlightenment!

I hope they go on making such date predictions. It will then be like the Millerite prophesy which led to the Great Dissapointement of 1844 when Jesus Christ did not return as expected! See

In the British Services in the past religious parades were normally Protestant. All fit personnel were made to join an official parade but then the command would be given "Fall Out the Catholics and Jews". Perhaps this should still be made the case but with the addition of "and non-christians "

The US has not been around as long as English Law. In The Uk it is necessary to have a parliamentary Commission to regularly go through the Statute Law to weed out redundant or odd laws. It is only late last century that the legal requirement for able bodied Englishmen to practice their archery on the village green every Sunday was rescinded!

Since your constitution does not specify which "Almighty God" could a Zoroastrian legally take this oath?
