I don't think there is any silly idea that you couldn't get 15% of people to agree with in a poll.

Is there any doubt that Sharia is at the root of this fucking insanity...?

Religion is the root.

All Abrahamic religions share the same insanity, but the Jews and Christians have (mostly) been dragged kicking and screaming into some sense of enlightenment by secular societies. Muslims still practice the evil shit that's in their scripture

Deuteronomy 22:28-29

22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days

Great, this is really good news. Divorcing Girl Scouts from the church can only be a good thing

When the Girl Scouts see the bigotry and intolerance of the churches and find themselves new premises to meet, the influence of the church is eroded. And maybe the opportunity of the priests to molest young girls will be reduced

I was a scout in England and the troop, like virtually all scout troops, was associated with a local church. This meant prayers, church parade, sanctimonious sermons from the vicar - and wearing a label declaring me to be the property of the ## Holy Trinity Church Scouts. When the sanctimonious scout master started trying to fiddle in my pants I knew it was time to leave.

The best way to respond is not to fight the separation and try to send the girls back to their abusers, but to help the Scouts find new secular meeting places

"So why isn't the Queen Supreme Governor of the Church of England then?"

"Next you'll be insisting on school prayers"
