The only evidence this neurosurgeon brings to the table is that even the most educated people can be absolutely retarded in a field they were never trained in. I bet this guy doesn't even know how to make macaroni and cheese, or work a washing machine.

I'm surprised my dad isn't in Sweden evangelizing by building you a security fence for free to keep the godless out, as long as you listen to him preach the bible, of course. Oh wait, he does that to the heathens in Africa. SWEDEN IS NEXT! AGAIN!'s a 1200 year cycle, get used to it. :P

Go to: For Good Self-Control, Try Getting Religious About It

Marku's Avatar Jump to comment 18 by Marku

My father is a bible literalist and chronic church goer, and it took him until the age of 45 to go to university. Which meant he drove a taxicab to hide his income to avoid taxes which in turn got him out of paying child support until his children were adults. But hey, I'm sure if you were to ask him today about self-control, he would sound all positive in his accomplishments, and give Jesus credit.

I don't think a questionnaire could be all encompassing enough to really prove anything about one side of this coin. This article is all about pandering and nothing else.

Go to: The New Atheism, a definition and a quiz

Marku's Avatar Jump to comment 19 by Marku

Religion is the easiest thing to discredit, for it represents how fallacious "man" can be. It doesn't take a high I.Q. to read a few history books to discredit this human-only-phenomenon as rubbish.

"New Atheists" are lucky, in the sense that we don't need "New Philosophers". Once again, anyone with half a brain can go to his/her library, or search Google to find a bazillion examples of atheistic philosophy that is light-years ahead in thinking than the average Joe-Schmo out there that probably only has read two books since his/her mother spawned his/her existence, one of which is probably not the bible, indeed.

For some reason I feel the need to use the words rubbish and indeed when I think of Richard Dawkins, or British people in general.

If the only things humans do on Mars is leave a footprint, that is good enough for me. The action of landing on mars by humans is very inspiring to say the least.

I would hope to see a mission to mars in my lifetime.
On a side note, why don't they start launching missions from outer space instead of fighting Earth's gravity? May as well start building now.

Marku's Avatar Jump to comment 128 by Marku

Wow, it's like every word of the religious at this point in my life sounds like a whiny cry for help, and nobody is listening. Maybe Islamic sharia law will save them. What a joke.

No offense to African Americans, but what was the American Civil War about? Why did they unite North and South? One can see how stupid the South is, but just imagine if they won and formed their own country. They'd probably be flying planes into building right at this moment. That's if they didn't inbreed themselves into total retardation, which probably would've been more likely.

So by the logic Muslims use: Christians are pigs, Jews are Monkeys, then Muslims are - what?

I don't even want to call them an animal because there really isn't anything wrong with being a monkey or a pig, for at least they have purpose on this planet. What, if any, is the real purpose of being a Muslim that has anything over being a monkey or a pig?

I can't wait to suffer hellfire; it will at least assure me that I won't be around any Muslims. That would be a nice day at the beach compared to listening to them. No wonder people worship Satan.

I would love to see a full scale big budget movie showing these theories in action. Like how modern human came to be in kind of a fast forward sequence and then show their migration into Europe; the clash between Neanderthal and modern humans.

Go to: Conversation between Richard Dawkins and John Lennox

Marku's Avatar Jump to comment 217 by Marku

I think if Richard Dawkins has a one too many of these conversations, he's going to have to evolve another set of eyes at the back of his head so he can roll them without offending.

It's to bad Richard Dawkins doesn't speak more in the discussion. It's almost like John Lennox wasn't even talking to him, but talking to his Christian listeners.

Please interject more Richard!
