Isn't the definition of speciation when two populations can no longer interbreed and produce fertile offspring? Doesn't this new DNA evidence simply show us that we've been one species for longer than the Archaeologists, Taxonomists, Paleontologists and ethnocentrists want to admit?

Loved the brief bit from Dan Dennet. He's the only philosopher I've heard who has a good grasp of Anthropology and natural selection.

Hmmmm.... Larry's published in the Murdoch owned Wall St. Journal? And he's critical of the space program? Hmmm...

OoooKaaay...

I don't disagree that the space program has been disappointing. But, man, get a handle on the anti-science forces at work in the US. Publishing in that rag isn't gonna change anything. It'll just add fuel to the right wing's war against science.
