Gotta love those Christians. For so many of them it's like the "getting forgiven" bit is more important than the "not sinning" bit, isn't it?

Christianity: the religion for moral weaklings.

Either that or he could just learn to keep his cock in his pants and hope his wife and family are the forgiving type, as after all they are the only ones who count here.

I hate to say it, but Brit's right. Of course Tiger should switch to Christianity...the Mormon variety to be specific. Then he can just marry all his mistresses. If he does that he won't need forgiveness.

"Turn to the christian faith, and you can make a total recovery, and you can be a great example to the world."

Does he mean a role model in the same way as Scott Lively, who preaches homophobic hatred in Uganda in the name of Jesus Christ? Or perhaps the pedophile catholics who rape children in the name of their loving god? Maybe he is referring to the pro-choice supporters who are harrasing single mothers and doctors that thinks abortion should be an option for people in despair. There you go Tiger Woods. Be a good example for the world ;-)

I never get used to all these religious fanatics you americans allow to pollute national television, PRIME TIME! It's so ABSURD to me...

Oh for fuck's sake....
That's right Tiger, convert to or become Christian and get forgiven-like all those charlatan tv evangelists and preachers whose indiscretions get found out, go on tv and blub for forgiveness. "Aw Lahd ah have sinned"-too fuckin' right you have mate, and now it's coming back to bite you on the arse.

Thing is you deserve it and to join that unique club of self righteous idiots who think a quick prayer to him upstairs (if he's up there at all) will cure everything you done in the last few weeks? Is that best a man can get Tiger? (to paraphrase your shaving ads)

What a dickhead. And the people dishing out such choice nuggets of wisdom are dickheads too. Convert and hope for forgiveness-shheesh! The man is spineless and not a good role model for anything.

That is such a bad idea. At least until now Tiger Woods has been chasing grown up women.

Haha... Every clip from FOX I see posted on this site is hilarious! It's like a public access channel for the mentally ill!

I'm just surprised O'Reilly wasn't in the background chirping in agreement.

Let me get this straight, If Tiger becomes a christian he can be forgiven and we all can enjoy watching him play golf again instead of harboring ill will towards him for what he did to us? I think Brit Hume feels personally hurt by this, that's the only way I can see that he should have the gall to interject any of his personal feelings into this.

Nunbeliever, I think he was merely referring to the marvelous example of philandering Catholic husbands who make their bad behavior disappear every Friday at confession.

I think it's absurd that people even meddle in the guys personal life. Same with Clinton, his personal life didn't have anything to do with his presidency, UNTIL everyone had to disturb him from doing important tasks with a totally unimportant media-circus. And that was a president, this guy is a golfer... Just let the poor guy be alone.

Why does Fox News always have to proselytize? Ironic that this was the network that took a chance on "The Simpsons" 20 years ago.

How the vultures in the media can sleep at night is beyond me. My conscience would hurt me badly for aiding to drag a mans reputation through the mud for the simple fact that I get paid to air his dirty laundry to the world. It is only because of Woods' celebrity status that this otherwise PRIVATE family matter is such a 'scandal.'

In America, Christians have the highest rate for divorce, the highest rate for incarceration, the highest rates of unplanned pregnancy, etc., so it seems logical they would also have the highest rates of infidelity.

Tiger got what he wanted. His wife should never speak to him again. And as for being forgiven, it's not up to the church (imaginary sky daddy)to do that, only the person/people you have wronged can forgive. He wronged his family and fans who don't have a life. Some people need religion to make them feel better about how terrible a person they know they are, because no one else is dumb enough to.

Why is everyone so surprised at human sexual infidelity? A multimillionaire named TIGER has sex with many beautiful women, and we're, what, shocked? Upset?

Or, is it jealous?

I'm sure Bertrand Russell would have something interesting to add to the discussion.

p.s. The Simpsons are on Fox, not Fox News. They are different.

The human species has flourished because we usually have several sexual partners (no, not usually at the same time). We should thank the fact that we have had ancestors with such tedancies otherwise we probably wouldn't be here.
