This must be British comedy. My American sense of humor detects a severe lack of toilet humor and farting.

This crew is definitely ready for prime time - expect to see them soon on all the talk shows schmoozing with the stars and looking down on us little people. Hey, that sounds like...

I have only one minor criticism. If you're going to rip off Casablanca as part of a religious satire, you simply MUST find a way to use the line "I was misinformed." And use it again and again and again. It's a perfect description of what religion is all about.

Why does a "Liberty University Online" ad appear on my screen when I watch this? I've already replaced my Irony Meter three times this month. Though... "affordable Christian degrees" is rather tempting. ;-)

Mr. Deity was the first "atheist comedy" that I came across. Really helpful for my family to understand my points when I was giving up god.

Where are you, Steve? I just get an ARC ad, but I'm in the Netherlands.

I doubt it. My British sense of grammar detects a severe error in the usage of the verb to lie at 0:41.

"Do we have that singularity laying around still?"

Bravo! My love and appreciation for Mr. Dalton & Co. keeps growing.

On the Casablanca note:

Disciple: Master, what thought should I take for the morrow?

Jesus: Never make plans that far ahead.

Beg to differ; ALL comedy is atheist because religoon has no sense of humour (in fact, remove 'of humour' for an equally true statement).

NB this is Brit humour because it has 'to you' in it.

What does the guy on the laptop say at the beginning of the video? I couldn't figure out a couple of words: "Hold on Sir, I'm getting a text. The g???????? found out about your six day plan. They canceled their j??????? and they are demanding that you meet with them."

Yes, comedy.

I have always had as much trouble finding Mr. Deity funny as I have finding the arguments for a personal god compelling.

I can see how, for people living in a demi-theocracy like the US, it might be amusing and, indeed, very much needed, but for myself, lucky enough(?) to live in an environment where religion is a non-issue and who grew up watching comedians who REALLY knew how to take the piss out of religion, it does nothing. That said, I do support what Mr. Dalton et al are doing (just not financially).

I'll shut up now.
